Frequently asked questions

How do I restore my purchase?

Sign in to the same Apple ID you bought with, open Sibun, and tap Restore Purchases in Settings (or on the Sibun Pro screen). Pro unlocks again within a moment. If nothing is found, check that the Apple ID is the one used for the purchase, then email us.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings → your name (Apple ID) → Subscriptions → Sibun Pro and tap Cancel. Do it at least 24 hours before the renewal (or before the free trial ends) to avoid the next charge. Pro stays active until the period you paid for ends. We cannot cancel for you, because the subscription belongs to your Apple ID.

Can I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What is the difference between hand-painted cells and buns?

If you studied but forgot the timer, tap or drag over the beige cells of a past time to paint them by hand (tap a hand-painted cell again to rub it out). Hand-painted time counts as study time and is shown as “hand-logged.” Buns are different: a bun only comes from a 10-minute cell that you finished on the timer without interruption. That is what keeps Bun honest.

Why can I only set one exam date?

The free version includes one exam date at a time. It counts while its goal is not archived and the exam day is today or later. When the exam has passed, or you archive that goal, the slot is free again. You can also move the date to another goal. Sibun Pro lets you set an exam date on every goal. Exam dates you already set are never removed.

Can I export my data?

Your study data stays on your iPhone, so you hold it already. From the Share screen you can save your pages and stats as images, share them to Instagram Stories or any app, or save them to Photos. A full data-file export does not exist yet. If you need your data in another form, email us and tell us what you need.

Will my data move to my new iPhone?

Sibun does not sync through iCloud yet. When you set up a new iPhone from a backup or with Apple’s transfer tools, app data comes along with it. Pro comes back with Restore Purchases.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the Sibun app from your iPhone and all of your study data goes with it. Sibun has no accounts and keeps nothing on our servers. The only other record is your purchase record at RevenueCat, linked to an anonymous ID. To have it deleted, email hello@sibun.app. Apple keeps its own purchase history under your Apple ID.
